SourceFunding.org is seeking a VP of Business Development to join the team.
Required: Experience in business development or as loan officer for a bank or FinTech company.
Duties will include:
Guiding prospects through the application and funding process - assist in collecting and presenting the information and documentation necessary from users to acquire financing from our lending partners.
Building a professional rapport with our clients by actively listening to, understanding and resolving client requests.
Prospecting new business through telephone sales and calling leads who have partially filled out an application or have responded through one of our marketing campaigns.
Developing and implementing strategies to execute the business plan and achieve desired results (e.g. engage new, qualified customer prospects and business).
Interface with borrower to establish credit terms, such as loan amount, interest rate, loan term, amortization, and fees.
Diligently handling incoming calls.
Becoming an expert in the small business lending landscape, understanding cash flow trends and successfully coaching business owners on how to grow their revenue.
Being responsive to client's needs and working to foster the growth of our business relationships over time.
Having a commitment to excellent customer service and responding promptly to customer needs in order to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact and work respectfully and cooperatively with others; the ability to be polite, confident, engaging, and tactful in customer interactions.
Location: The company is headquartered in New York City but team members can work remotely anywhere in the US.
