VP of Business Development

SourceFunding.org is seeking a VP of Business Development to join the team. 

Required: Experience in business development or as loan officer for a bank or FinTech company.

Duties will include:

  • Guiding prospects through the application and funding process - assist in collecting and presenting the information and documentation necessary from users to acquire financing from our lending partners.

  • Building a professional rapport with our clients by actively listening to, understanding and resolving client requests.

  • Prospecting new business through telephone sales and calling leads who have partially filled out an application or have responded through one of our marketing campaigns.

  • Developing and implementing strategies to execute the business plan and achieve desired results (e.g. engage new, qualified customer prospects and business).

  • Interface with borrower to establish credit terms, such as loan amount, interest rate, loan term, amortization, and fees.

  • Diligently handling incoming calls.

  • Becoming an expert in the small business lending landscape, understanding cash flow trends and successfully coaching business owners on how to grow their revenue.

  • Being responsive to client's needs and working to foster the growth of our business relationships over time.

  • Having a commitment to excellent customer service and responding promptly to customer needs in order to ensure a seamless customer experience.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact and work respectfully and cooperatively with others; the ability to be polite, confident, engaging, and tactful in customer interactions.

Location: The company is headquartered in New York City but team members can work remotely anywhere in the US.
